Diploma in Business Management

    • To equip students with at least basic knowledge and cutting-edge skills for managing business in a fast-changing world.

    • This program is specifically designed to equip students with basic theoretical management concepts and related skills before they further their studies at degree level.
    • Apply and implement effectively basic knowledge in management, accounting, finance, economics and mathematics as a preparation to join the industry.
    • Apply on how to do business plan, investment projection and financial evaluation.
    • Be analytical of any relevant issues related to business, financial, investment and management.
    • Able to recognize and adapt to the ever evolving legal and regulatory environment within which business practice is performed.

  • The Diploma in Business Management programme introduces and provides students a solid grounding in four areas of study; Business Strategy and Planning, Organizational Behavior and Organizational Theory, Human Resource Management and Operation Management. Graduates of this programme will have the opportunity to work in the government, universities and industries. The probable posts are assistant marketing officer, assistant human resources officer, assistant public relations officer and others.

    • Passed SPM/SPMV with at least 3 credit in any subject, or
    • Passed STAM(maqbul), or
    • Passed STPM with min 1′C’, or
    • Lulus O-Level with min 3′C’, or
    • Lulus SKM (tahap 3), and passed SPM with min 1 credit, or
    • Passed Community College Cert (tahap 3 equivalent), and passed SPM with min 1 credit, or
    • Passed UEC, with min 3′B’, or
    • Passed any Certificate (tahap 3, MQF) with minimum CGPA 2.00, or
    • Any accredited/recognized qualifications that are equivalent to all above.
    • For international students, a minimum score = 5.0 in IELTS is required.

    Expected Salary

    • Public Sector: Basic starting monthly salary is around RM1,500
    • Private Sector:  The amount of basic starting monthly salary can vary from the above amount and it will depend based on student’s experience. However, the total amount of monthly salary earned (inclusive of allowances) is subject to negotiation and which can be higher than that earned in the public sector.
